Walsh Selected 3A Player of the Week Monday, August 20th, 2029 22-year-old Tony Walsh made a few Grand Forks headlines during this past week as the rookie catcher proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and M3L Single A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 8 hits in 16 at-bats to put up a .500 average. Walsh collected 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 4 runs. On the season, Walsh is batting .240 with 9 home runs and 38 RBIs. He has played in 69 games. |
