Karpinen Nabs 3A Outstanding Hitter Award Monday, September 24th, 2029 Iikka Karpinen of the Highwood Hawks had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Outstanding Hitter Award for 2029. The 22-year-old center fielder put up a .304 average and a .399 on-base percentage, piling up 109 hits, 20 doubles, 3 triples, 11 home runs, 61 RBIs and 56 runs scored. Vladya Pugiev of the Put-In-Bay BC finished second in voting, while Reynaldo Padilla of the Louisiana Dragoons finished third. |
