BC, Mullen Blank Highwood Wednesday, September 5th, 2029 19-year-old Put-In-Bay BC pitcher Barry Mullen had a strong outing against the Highwood Hawks at Hawks Field today, keeping them off the scoreboard the whole game. He struck out 8 in the 4-0 win and walked 2 while surrendering 3 hits. "Hopefully there will be plenty more of these in the future for us," he said. So far this year Mullen has made 14 starts, tossed 89 innings, struck out 75 batters and walked 34. His record is 6-4 with a 2.33 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .237 batting average.
