Lynx Hammered by Mosca, Drop Game 3 to Drummers
The Tortolita Drummers have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Calgary Lynx, winning 9-3 at Drummers Ballpark today. Drummers right fielder Roberto Mosca was named player of the game after he went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. The win cuts the deficit facing the Drummers to 2-1 in the best-of-5 SL AAA Championship.

Tied up with the Lynx in the bottom of the fourth inning, the Drummers got a boost from third baseman Yoshihito Saikawa. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Saikawa saw a 1-1 fastball from Ramón Martínez and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Tortolita on top, 4-3.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Saikawa said after the game.

Game 4 is set to be played tomorrow in Tortolita. Slated to start are Juan López for the Calgary Lynx and Jorge Rivera for the the Tortolita Drummers.
