Chukars Take Down Dragonblood, 6-3
|
Starting pitcher Chico Landi pitched well enough to help the Idaho Falls Chukars beat the Yellowknife Dragonblood by the score of 6-3. Idaho Falls is now 58-30, Yellowknife 46-42.
In the top of the sixth inning, left fielder Víctor Puente came through big-time for the Chukars. With Idaho Falls leading 1-0, he belted a 2-run home run.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Puente, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
