|
Columbia River Rats starter Giel Overwater was in fine form against the South Beach Blaze at Columbia Stadium, leading his team to a 6-0 win. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Columbia.
It could have been a different outcome for Columbia, had it not been for Michael Walters, the 22-year old catcher . Walters contributed a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth inning to put Columbia up, 1-0.
"This was a good win for us," said Overwater. "It's one more step toward our ultimate goal."
