20-year-old South Beach Blaze pitcher Harrison Tuff had a strong outing against the Gwinnett County Black Cats at The Ballpark on the Beach today, keeping them off the scoreboard the whole game. He struck out 4 in the 2-0 win and walked 2 while surrendering 5 hits.
"Hopefully there will be plenty more of these in the future for us," he said.
So far this year Tuff has made 8 starts, tossed 62.2 innings, struck out 56 batters and walked 12. His record is 4-1 with a 2.01 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .229 batting average.
