Bulls Sneak Past Dragonblood, 6-5

Rob Ingram did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Yellowknife Dragonblood from losing, 6-5, to the Mt. Vernon Bulls at The Dragon Den. Ingram went 2-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Jeffery Prosser picked up the save, his 13th. Mt. Vernon is now 29-29, Yellowknife 32-26.
It could have been a different outcome for Mt. Vernon, had it not been for Toby Sutton, the 19-year old center fielder . Sutton contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Mt. Vernon up, 6-5.
"Some of the guys in here work pretty hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Sutton told the Mt. Vernon Times.
