Bulls Fall Short at Yellowknife
The Yellowknife Dragonblood faced a tough opponent in Mt. Vernon pitcher Ken Borrego, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Dragon Den by a final score of 7-6. Borrego went 8 innings and allowed 4 earned runs. Yellowknife is now 27-18, Mt. Vernon 24-21.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Yellowknife trailing 6-4, Miklos Elias hit a fastball from Jeffery Prosser to right for a bases-clearing double. Just like that, the Dragonblood had a walk-off win.

Elias said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
