21-year-old Columbia River Rats pitcher Howard Jamerson had a strong outing against the Hammond Herons at The Heron Refuge today, keeping them off the scoreboard the whole game. He struck out 6 in the 4-0 win and walked 1 while surrendering 6 hits.

"Hopefully there will be plenty more of these in the future for us," he said.
