Blaze Win at Gwinnett County, 6-3

South Beach Blaze starter David Ndahura was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Gwinnett County Black Cats, 6-3. Ndahura got the win, improving to 1-2. He allowed 6 hits and walked 1 over 6.1 innings. Ndahura allowed 3 earned runs. Earning his 2nd save for South Beach was Luis Oropeza.
Harlan Peppers, who is tied for 8th in the PA in triples with 1, aided the South Beach cause with a 2-run triple in the top of the seventh. For the game, the third baseman was 2-5 with a triple and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Peppers.
The Black Cats fall to 9-10 and continue their wobbly start to the 2029 season.
