Late Rally by Blaze Secures Win
The South Beach Blaze defeated the Chicago Tula, 4-3. Earning player of the game honors was first baseman Syed Sarkar, who hit 2 home runs. No one expected much of this team but the hot start by South Beach might have some re-evaluating their pre-season predictions. The win today pushes their record to 10-6.

The Blaze were down to their final out when designated hitter Fortunato Rasquinha turned a 2-1 fastball from Cedric Zuercher into a bases-clearing double. The walk-off double made the The Ballpark on the Beach crowd go wild.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Rasquinha said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
