Blaze Fall Short, 2-1, at Yellowknife
|
Yellowknife Dragonblood starter Eugenio Piñeiro was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the South Beach Blaze, 2-1. Losses have been few and far between for the Blaze so far this season. Their record drops to 3-1.
Early in the game, right fielder Santiago Miranda had a run-scoring single for Yellowknife. It was his 3rd hit of the season and put the Dragonblood on top, 1-0.
Miranda said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
