Late Rally by Generals Secures Win
The Washington Generals topped the Niagara Falls Expos by the score of 7-4, with the largest share of the credit going to designated hitter Michael Palledorous. Palledorous went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Generals. Washington bumps their record to 49-47 with the win.

Palledorous had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a 0-1 curveball from Jefferson Suhendro, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Generals a 7-4 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Palledorous.

"Some of the guys in here work pretty hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Palledorous told the Washington Times.
