Hottinger K's 12 En Route to 2-0 Generals Win
|
John Hottinger pitched a gem to lead Washington to a 2-0 victory over the Myrtle Beach Seahawks. The Generals bumped their record to 45-43 with this latest triumph.
Hottinger was in the zone all game. He frustrated Myrtle Beach hitters while giving the Generals 8 innings of quality work. Hottinger threw 113 pitches, allowing 6 hits and getting 12 punchouts.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Hottinger said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
