Seahawks Prevail, 2-1, Over Nebraska
|
The Myrtle Beach Seahawks went home winners at Plain Old Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Garrett Schaper. Schaper silenced the Nebraska Plainsmen, enabling Myrtle Beach to grab the 2-1 win. Myrtle Beach has now won 5 games in a row.
Joo-young Yo went 1 for 3 with a double for Myrtle Beach. The 21-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the second. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off César Román. It was his 17th RBI of the season.
"It was a good effort all around," said Yo.
