Reapers Win at Myrtle Beach, 4-2
|
Grim rode a fine outing from starter Andy Fallon to victory over the Myrtle Beach Seahawks at Seahwaks Stadium. The final score was 4-2. In 8 innings, Fallon surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 1. He allowed 2 runs. The Reapers have an impressive 53-27 record.
The Reapers got a big at-bat from designated hitter Keohi Iese. For the game, Iese went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. In the top of the sixth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 1st double of the season gave Grim a 3-0 lead.
"I thought we played a nice game," Iese told the Grim Times. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
