The Niagara Falls Expos got a superb performance from designated hitter José Vázquez, but the Washington Generals still won the game, 8-7. Vázquez was named the player of the game despite the loss. He went 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Washington is 4th in the Silver A with a record of 39-36.

Washington took a 8-7 lead on Júlio Rodríguez's 71st hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Rodríguez hit in the top of the ninth, left Niagara Falls pitcher Montrell Baxa visibly frustrated.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Washington manager Jacob Curtis.
