Walla Walla had no answer for Niagara Falls Expos hurler Montrell Baxa, who overwhelmed Walleye hitters as the Expos coasted to a 6-1 victory. Baxa, now 3-0, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 9, walking 2, and allowing no earned runs. Niagara Falls is now 31-35.
José Xirau aided the Niagara Falls cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the second baseman was 1-4, while adding 2 RBI.
