Donahue Sensational for Storm
|
The Coffin was the site of a tense game between the Grim Reapers and Syracuse Storm.
The Syracuse Storm got a strong performance from pitcher Chris Donahue, who stymied the Grim offense en route to a 3-1 win at The Coffin. Matthew Fallows converted his 6th save in 8 tries.
The Reapers had trouble solving Donahue, who surrendered 1 earned run on 4 hits over 8 innings.
"Some of the guys in here work pretty hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Donahue told the Syracuse Today.
At 28-34, Syracuse is in 6th place in the Silver A.
