Dominant Performance by Donahue in Syracuse Win
The Syracuse Storm got a strong performance from pitcher Chris Donahue, who stymied the Myrtle Beach offense en route to a 1-0 win at Storm Park. Matthew Fallows closed the game out for Syracuse, earning his 4th save. Syracuse now sits at 23-29, while Myrtle Beach falls to 22-30.

Donahue was in the zone all game. He frustrated Myrtle Beach hitters while giving the Storm 8 innings of quality work. Donahue threw 111 pitches, allowing 3 hits and getting 8 punchouts.

"Some of the guys in here work pretty hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Donahue told the Syracuse Today.
