The Niagara Falls Expos and Walla Walla Walleye brought some excitement to Walleye Tank.

The Walla Walla Walleye went home winners at Walleye Tank, thanks in large part to starter Jesús Vidro. Vidro silenced the Niagara Falls Expos, enabling Walla Walla to grab the 6-1 win. Vidro picked up the win for Walla Walla, going 6.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 9 hits. He now sports a record of 2-2.

A key at-bat in the game came in the bottom of the sixth inning when the Walleye sent teenager Luis Delvalle to the plate against Expos hurler Song Tsang. With runners on 1st and 2nd and a whole stadium watching, the kid controlled his nerves and delivered huge, hitting a double off a first pitch fastball to score 1.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Delvalle said after the game.

The slumping Expos have lost 6 straight.
