Donoghue Sensational for Generals
Washington right-hander Phillip Donoghue made an effective start against the Walla Walla Walleye at Washington Park, leading his team to a 2-0 win. Randy Gabaldon earned the save for Washington, his 5th of the year. The Walleye, now 11-26, have lost 8 straight.

The Generals liked what they saw from Donoghue. The 20-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Walleye to no earned runs on 5 hits over 8 innings, and striking out 6.

Donoghue said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
