Reapers Solve Seahawks, 5-2

Grim Reapers starter Edward Scarborough pitched a strong game against the Myrtle Beach Seahawks at Seahwaks Stadium, leading the Reapers to a 5-2 win. The winning pitcher was Scarborough, now 2-0. He tossed 8 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 7. The Reapers boast a remarkable 21-2 record.
The Reapers got a big at-bat from catcher Bartolo Hernández. For the game, Hernández went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk. In the top of the second, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 27th hit of the season gave Grim a 1-0 lead.
"I like our moxie," said Reapers manager Dale Wolfe.
