Bellevue Bruins starter Shawn Lyons was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Walla Walla Walleye, 6-1. The Bruins raised their record to 10-7.
Early in the game, second baseman David Muller had a run-scoring triple for Bellevue. It was his 2nd triple of the season and put the Bruins on top, 1-0.
"We'll savor this win," Lyons told the Bellevue Chronicle, "then get ready for the next game."
