Delaware pitcher José Cotilla did his part in helping his team beat the Niagara Falls Expos, 3-1. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Earning his 4th save for Delaware was Todd Howell. The 1787 BC have hit the ground running, raising their record to 8-3. While it's still too soon to talk about Delaware hoisting their 3rd SL A Championship trophy, fans are getting excited about their strong start.

It could have been a different outcome for Delaware, had it not been for Jesús Guzmán, the speedster . Guzmán contributed a run-scoring triple in the top of the third inning to put Delaware up, 1-0.
