Storm Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
|
The Syracuse Storm got a strong performance from pitcher Shi-xian Kuai, who stymied the Niagara Falls offense en route to a 4-2 win at Storm Park. In 5.1 innings, Kuai surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 3. He allowed 2 runs. Syracuse, now 3-5, is off to a slow start.
Aethelwulf Haraldson aided the Syracuse cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the second. For the game, the first baseman was 1-4, while adding 2 RBI.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Haraldson told reporters after the game.
