Expos Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
|
The Niagara Falls Expos defeated the Myrtle Beach Seahawks, 4-2, in USSL Single A action at Waterfall Park, with Niagara Falls pitcher Justin Broadfoot named player of the game. The Expos, now 4-2, have been on a roll in the early going.
Early in the game, second baseman Ramón Degollado had a 2-run home run for Niagara Falls. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Expos on top, 3-1.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Broadfoot, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
