The Kennesaw Jets got a stellar performance from pitcher Aidan Clift, who handcuffed the Belleville offense en route to a 4-2 win at Belleville Field. Clift got the win, improving to 3-5. He allowed 4 hits and walked 1 over 6.2 innings. Clift allowed 1 earned run. Kennesaw, at 24-33, sits in 9th place in the Menard's A.
A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 3rd and two out in the top of the fourth inning. That's when catcher Alfred Owen drew a walk. The Jets went on to win.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Owen told the Kennesaw Daily.
