Victory Pushes Revolution Record to 21-17
|
Grover Lowdermilk pitched a gem to lead York to a 2-1 victory over the Kennesaw Jets. Sicnarf Loopstok closed the game out for York, earning his 6th save. The Revolution bumped their record to 21-17 with this latest triumph.
The Revolution got a big at-bat from third baseman Pedro Flores. For the game, Flores was 1 for 4. In the top of the seventh, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 25th hit of the season gave York a 2-1 lead.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Lowdermilk said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
