Dragoons Sneak Past Guzzlers, 3-2
|
The Louisiana Dragoons faced a tough opponent in Galesburg pitcher Robby Oglethorpe, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Galesburg Field by a final score of 3-2. Oglethorpe went 8.2 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. Louisiana reliever Gary Mason picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Robby Oglethorpe shouldered the loss. The Dragoons now have a record of 9-11 with the win over Galesburg.
Louisiana took a 3-2 lead on Reynaldo Padilla's 1st home run of the season. The solo home run came off Galesburg pitcher Robby Oglethorpe in the top of the eighth.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Padilla said after the game.
