Big Day by Campbell Sparks Screaming Eagles Win

The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles grabbed a 7-2 win over the Richland Rails at Mercer Island Grounds. Mercer Island designated hitter Jeffery Campbell went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 to earn player of the game honors. Mercer Island improves to 61-38 with the win. They lead their division by 5 games.
In the bottom of the third, Ray Davis hit a 2-run double for Mercer Island. The 5th double of the season for the Mercer Island first baseman put the Screaming Eagles on top, 2-1.
