|
Richland Rails starter Paco Manuel was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Northville Eclipse, 6-3. The winning pitcher was Manuel, now 8-7. He tossed 6 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 4. Jorge Mejía was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 11 of 13 save opportunities.
Early in the game, second baseman Orlando Casillas had a run-scoring triple for Richland. It was his 3rd triple of the season and put the Rails on top, 1-0.
