San Antonio BC starter Greyson Torain was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, 7-4. Torain, the winner, moves to 4-5. He threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 5 walks. Getting the save was Stef Dijkman, his 10th.
Earl Wiley, who is tied for 6th in the PAA in bases on balls with 38, aided the San Antonio cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the center fielder went 1-2 with 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI.
Wiley told the San Antonio Daily: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."
