A 5-RBI performance from Theo Fightmaster, who was drafted in the two round of the 2024 draft, helped the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles beat the Asheville Highlanders, 14-5. Mercer Island, at 14-13, occupies 6th place in the Premier AA.

Fightmaster had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the third inning, when he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Screaming Eagles went on to win.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Mercer Island manager Jared Gilbert.
