Eclipse Stymie Asheville, Take 3-1 Win

The Northville Eclipse got a stellar performance from pitcher Luis Villabos, who handcuffed the Asheville offense en route to a 3-1 win at Old-Timers Park. Northville, at 12-11, sits in 4th place in the Premier AA.
Northville second baseman Alfonso Grappasonni changed the complexion of the game in the bottom of the sixth inning. That's when he belted a 3-run home run off Brandeis Göller. His 1st home run of the season put Northville in front, 3-1.
Villabos told a Northville Observer reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
