Preciado Delivers Walk-Off Win for Rails
The Richland Rails defeated the Myrtle Beach Mermen, 3-2, in USPL Double A action at Rails Ballpark, with Richland pitcher Poto Scacceri named player of the game. Richland reliever Matt Crowley was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Guus Ketting took the loss for Myrtle Beach. The Mermen fall to 6-9 and continue their lackluster start to the 2029 season.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Richland pinch hitter León Preciado, facing Guus Ketting, had a run-scoring single. It gave the Rails the 3-2 win.

"Put a star next to this win," Scacceri said.
