Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Rails
|
The Rails faced a stiff challenge from Myrtle Beach pitcher Gregory Bahena, but persevered to claim a win at Rails Ballpark. The final score was 3-2. Bahena went 8 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. The Mermen fall to 6-8 and continue their lackluster start to the 2029 season.
Michael Bradshaw was the walk-off hero for Richland. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rails designated hitter hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Bradshaw told the Richland Observer.
