Rocha goes 4-for-4 to Power Highlanders Offense
|
The Asheville Highlanders bested the San Antonio BC by a score of 7-2, with center fielder Enrique Rocha getting the main credit. On the day, Rocha was 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Highlanders. The BC fall to 5-7 and continue their wobbly start to the 2029 season.
In the bottom of the eighth, José Perea stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The BC were trailing 7-2, but had the bases loaded. That's when Manuel Sánchez made a terrific pitch and Perea lined out. Gone was the dream of a San Antonio comeback.
