Richland Rails starter Poto Scacceri was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Asheville Highlanders, 7-3. Earning his 1st save for Richland was Miguel Hernández. Richland, now 2-3, is off to a slow start.

A crucial at-bat came with the bases loaded and two out in the bottom of the seventh inning. That's when catcher Jonah Cooney reached on an error by the SS, driving in 2 runs. The Rails went on to win.

"It was a solid team effort," said Cooney after the game.
