|
Plymouth catcher Chris Teague had a good game, even if his team did not. The Rocks dropped a 6-5 decision to Milton at Milton Corner Tavern. Teague went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Milton reliever Jeff Krause picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-1. Ken Shelton was collared with the loss. The Dogfish Head' win now puts them at 53-48.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Milton right fielder JoJo Victory, facing Ken Shelton, had a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. It gave the Dogfish Head the 6-5 win.
"There's no quit in this team," said Dogfish Head manager Joe Richard.
