The Phoenix Hotspur Reserves got a stellar performance from pitcher Bob Cook, who handcuffed the Houston offense en route to a 7-1 win at Houston Park. Gabriel Hernández was called on to finish, recording his 1st save. Phoenix now sits at 34-61, while Houston falls to 33-62.

The two teams provided some entertaining baseball for the Houston Park crowd. Regardless of the outcome, a good time was had by all.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Cook. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
