Gonzalo Álvarez really sizzled at the plate in today's 10-3 win over BC. The Royse City first baseman blistered Houston for 5 hits in 6 at-bats.
"Álvarez was too tough to get out today," the BC skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
Gonzalo Álvarez grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 7th, hit a two-run home run off Ismael Padilla in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
