Targaryens Need Extra Frames to Get Past Hotspur Reserves
Phoenix got a terrific game from third baseman Julián De Paz. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Royse City, 9-7. De Paz was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Royse City is now 43-37, Phoenix 27-53.

The most important at-bat for Royse City came in the top of the tenth inning, when first baseman Gonzalo Álvarez stroked a 0-1 fastball to center for a run-scoring single, putting Royse City up, 8-7.

In postgame comments, Álvarez said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
