|
Phoenix Hotspur Reserves starter Mike Harris turned in a sterling performance against the Royse City Targaryens, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. In 7 innings, Harris surrendered 9 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 1. He allowed 2 runs. Richard Osborn earned the save for Phoenix, his 5th of the year.

"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Hotspur Reserves manager Bill Clark. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
Even with the win, the Hotspur Reserves have a dismal 27-52 record.
