|
Jersey City shortstop Mike Strickland was instrumental in his team's 6-4 win over the Milton Dogfish Head. Strickland, who is rated as the 47th best prospect by BNN, went 3-4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Tritons. António Alomar was the winning pitcher. Over 6.1 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 8 hits, with 3 walks and 8 strikeouts. Jersey City improves to 42-24 with the win. They lead their division by 2˝ games.
