Dogfish Head Subdue Salt Lake City, 5-3
|
The Milton Dogfish Head defeated the Salt Lake City Buzz, 5-3, in USPL Triple A action at Milton Corner Tavern, with Milton pitcher Francisco Barrios named player of the game. The win puts the Dogfish Head at 34-26, while the Buzz drop to 34-26.
In the bottom of the 6th, left fielder Alejandro Castillo gave Milton the lead when he hit a 2-run double. The Dogfish Head had been trailing 3-2, but the two-out double off Salt Lake City pitcher Léonard Moreau changed that -- and Milton went on to win.
"It feels good to get this one," Castillo told the Milton Times.
