Dogfish Head Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
The 2029 season is getting ugly for Houston.

Despite a fine performance by catcher António López, the Houston BC suffered a 7-4 loss to the Milton Dogfish Head. López was 2-3 with a triple, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs. Milton reliever Edgardo Marín picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Millard Taylor absorbed the loss.

Rich Flannery, who was drafted in the two round of the 2027 draft, aided the Milton cause with a 2-run double in the top of the seventh. For the game, the pinch hitter was 1-2 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Flannery said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

Milton now sits at 18-9, while Houston falls to 8-19.
