Nobles Win Again, Extend Streak to 6
|
Bakersfield and Milton duked it out at Milton Corner Tavern and the Nobles came out victorious.
The Bakersfield Nobles dealt the Milton Dogfish Head a 10-7 loss at Milton Corner Tavern. Miguel Márquez was the star on offense. He was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Sukejuro Yokoyama got credit for the win, improving to 3-0. He allowed 6 runs on 7 hits in 5.1 innings. Rick Converse earned the save for Bakersfield, his 5th of the year.
Ramón Félix, who is tied for 9th in the PAAA with a .438 on-base percentage, helped out the Bakersfield cause in the top of the third inning with a 2-run single. For the game, the left fielder went 2-6 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Márquez said after the game.
With their winning streak at 6, the Nobles have raced to a strong start this season.
