Battlekings Jolt Targaryens with Late Rally

Naperville first baseman Jorge Baker had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Royse City Targaryens, 5-2. Naperville reliever Chris Hayes picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Juan Cruz shouldered the loss. Esteban Jiménez closed the door for Naperville, picking up his 4th save of the year.
Baker had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 1-2 fastball from Juan Cruz, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Battlekings a 5-2 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Baker.
"We're in a funk right now," said Royse City skipper Chris Drew.
The Battlekings, now 10-5, have played some good baseball in the early going.
